澳洲小知識：「Acknowledgement of country」。為了表示對澳洲原住民(Aboriginal peoples) 和托雷斯海峽群島島民(Torres Strait Islander peoples)的尊重，及承認澳洲原住民和托雷斯海峽群島島民是澳洲土地的傳統監護人(Traditional custodians)，在澳洲的會議、演講及活動前，都要加入「Acknowledgement of country」。如果主講的是澳洲原住民和托雷斯海峽群島島民長老或主人，他們會以「welcome to country」開始。
